We have designed and created three lines of chic, reusable bags: the "Yippie," the "Shopper" and the "Gift Giver." Below are detailed descriptions of the bags with a few sample photos of each. The Yippie The Yippie is a hybrid hippie/yuppie bag for everyday use--perfect for a couple library books, a couple pieces of produce from the farmer's market or your wallet and keys. Like the shopper, the Yippie is totally reversible and crafted of 100% cotton upholstery fabric. You can definitely machine wash and iron this bag, but I recommend hand washing and laying it out to dry to maintain the colors best and prevent shrinking. The Shopper The Shopper bag was created for groceries, farmer's market items, books, shopping and various other everyday needs. Crafted of medium-to-heavyweight upholstery fabric, the bags are completely reversible and absolutely fabulous! Here are some key features: Completely reversible--It's like two bags in one! No visible seams No bottom seam to come unraveled after dozens of heavy loads Medium/heavyweight, 7-oz., 100% cotton fabric Machine wash cold, tumble dry low (however, hand washing is highly recommended!) Steam iron if preferred - but avoid the straps! (They will melt!) Handle length perfect for over-the-shoulder use Handles crafted of heavyweight polypropylene--more biodegradable and sturdy than typical nylon webbing Super-cute fabrics to suit any taste Here are just a few of my fabric offerings. Available in several sizes (including one perfect for wine bottles), the Gift Giver bags come in a variety of fabrics and suit any occasion. Here's the skinny: Crafted of 100% cotton Machine wash with similar colors, tumble dry low (or drip dry) - just be sure to tie the ribbon in a sturdy knot! Ribbon can be easily replaced in seconds by threading through the casing with a safety pin (Contact us if you're having any trouble!) Seams serged and/or finished Ample top hem - the most of any gift bags we've seen! Various sizes and shapes to fit most gifts A variety of fabrics that everyone's bound to love! ...and the best part of all our bags? They're easy on the earth. These bags can be used again and again resulting in thousands fewer disposable bags in landfills. Why not use organics? We're going to preemptively address this question before it even crosses your mind. Because we're so concerned about our impact on the environment, we've searched high and low for organic fabric options. We've found a few, yes...but most of them are cost-prohibitive (or in plain, non-descript prints) for us to use on our bags. We promise to keep looking, and we hope you will too. In the meantime, we'll keep striving to operate our business in the most sustainable way including offsetting all of our energy use through wind power credits, reducing/recycling waste and educating our consumers on other ways they can help the cause.
